Well, Howdy!
Hailing from the thriving metropolis of Jemez Springs, New Mexico, DK & The Affordables kick out a jiving, jumping variety of roots music that is intended to get you moving and inspire good will amongst the sexes. Gyrating, swinging bodies topped by smiling faces have accompanied many an Affordables show. Couple all of that with twangy guitar, a ripping rhythm section, greasy hair, and some pointy boots and you've got yourself a hootenanny of a good time!
Some of our notable accomplishments have been opening for Mr. Junior Brown on the opening night of the Gordons' Summer Concert Series in Los Alamos, NM, playing for the 16th anniversary of the Cities Of Gold Casino in Pojoaque, NM, a fantastic day at Pajarito Mountain, and multiple evenings at Los Ojos Saloon in Jemez Springs, NM.
